Company may collect three types of information when you use the Mobile App: contact information, usage information, and location information.
- Contact Information
In order to participate in certain features, services and/or programs of the Mobile App, we may require that you provide us with certain specific information, such as your full name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, gender, personal interests and/or other information specific to you. You can choose whether or not to provide us with this information, but if you choose not to provide any required information, your experience with the Mobile App may be diminished and some features may not be available or may not work as intended.
- Usage Information
Company may obtain non-individualized, generic information about you when you use the Mobile App. This may include your IP address, Unique Device Identifier (« UDI ») and arrival time. The UDI reveals nothing personal about the user other than the UDI from which the user has accessed the Mobile App. We may use this information to examine our traffic in the aggregate, but do not collect and evaluate this information for individuals.
- Location Information
In order to participate in certain features, services and/or programs of the Mobile App, we need to collect information concerning your location. Some devices permit users to disable this feature. If you do that, your experience with the Mobile App will be diminished and some features may not be available or may not work as intended.
Use of Information
Information collected by the Mobile App is used for three main purposes. First, we collect information to improve the Mobile App over time by determining which of features and sections are most popular, as well as which are the least utilized. Second, we collect information to improve the relevance of advertising or special offers available to you. For example, an advertiser which owns a popular coffee shop may want to provide a special offer to existing customers that are near one of its locations. Anonymous location history enables us to determine which group of users may be eligible for such a promotion. Finally, we collect information to personalize your experience with the Mobile App. For example, we may recall your sort preferences and define those preferences as the default for your account.
When Information Is Disclosed
We use reasonable precautions to keep the information that is disclosed to us secure.
We cannot make any representations regarding the use or transfer of your information that we may have in the event of our bankruptcy, reorganization, insolvency, receivership or an assignment for the benefit of creditors, and you expressly agree and consent to the use and/or transfer of your information in connection with a sale or transfer of some or all of our assets in any of the above described proceedings. Furthermore, we cannot and will not be responsible for any breach of security by any third parties or for any actions of any third parties that receive any of the information that is disclosed to us.
The Mobile App may also link to other websites and contain advertisements of third parties. We are not and cannot be responsible for the privacy policies of those websites of third parties or for how they treat information (including, but not limited to personally identifiable information) about their users.
Value Added Benefits
Member Account, Password and Security
For certain features available through the Mobile App, we may require the use of encryption technologies provided for your protection and/or your use of a UserID and password after setting up a User Account. We use reasonable precautions to protect the privacy of your UserID, password and User Account information by utilizing an SSL connection. Accordingly, your UserID, password and User Account information are encrypted using an SSL connection and are not expected to be read in an intelligible form as they travel to the Mobile App. You, however, are ultimately responsible for protecting your UserID, password and User Account information from disclosure to third parties, and you are not permitted to circumvent the use of required encryption technologies. You agree to: (a) immediately notify Company of any unauthorized use of your UserID, password and/or User Account, and/or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your User Account at the end of each session. While we may provide certain encryption technologies and use other reasonable precautions to protect your confidential information and provide suitable security, we do not and cannot guarantee or warrant that information transmitted through the internet is secure, or that such transmissions are free from delay, interruption, interception or error.
Information From Children
The Mobile App is not intended or designed to attract children under the age of thirteen (13). We do not collect personally identifiable data from any person that we know to be under the age of thirteen (13). If we learn that a user under the age of thirteen (13) is publicly posting or sharing personally identifiable information in or through the Mobile App, then we will use commercially reasonable measures to block that user from using the Mobile App.
Your California Privacy Rights
Under California’s « Shine the Light » law, California residents who provide personal information in connection with obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us once per calendar year information about the customer information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g., requests made in 2015 will receive information regarding 2014 sharing activities).

Do Not Track Requests
Additionally, because we may collect your personal information from time to time, California’s Online Privacy Protection Act requires us to disclose how we respond to « do not track » requests and other similar mechanisms. Currently, our policy is that we do not recognize « do not track » requests from internet browsers and similar devices.
European Union Users
Because Company’s Mobile App is accessible globally, the information that we collect may be made available to our affiliates, partners and subsidiaries worldwide. For those users visiting us from the European Union, please note that Company may transfer your personally identifiable data outside the European Union for use for any of the purposes described above. By using the Mobile App and providing Company with your personal data, you consent to such transfer of your personal data.
Privacy Outside the Mobile App
The Mobile App may contain various links to various websites. Company is not and cannot be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of any of those websites. Other than under agreements with certain reputable organizations and companies, and except for third party service providers whose services you voluntarily elect to utilize, we do not share any of the personal information that you provide to us with any of the websites to which the Mobile App links, although we may share aggregate, non-personally identifiable data with those other websites. For example, when working with prospective advertising partners, we may identify the number of users we have in a particular state. Please check with those websites in order to determine their privacy policies and your rights under them.
